Founded in 2007, Suffolk Humane Society is non-profit organization that
is managed by volunteers and funded by private donors - it does not
have a paid staff and it does not receive government subsidies. Suffolk
Humane Society does not own a shelter yet and currently supports the
animals sheltered by Suffolk Animal Control.
The Mission of the Suffolk Humane Society is to end euthanasia as a
means to control pet overpopulation in Suffolk. To achieve this goal,
Suffolk Humane Society is focused on Adoption, Spay/Neuter Programs,
and Humane Education.
