The Suffolk Humane Society does not receive any government subsidies and is completely dependent upon private donors for funding. You can donate by check or by using PayPal's secure weblink! Both of the Applebee's restaurants in Suffolk have entered into very generous agreements with Suffolk Humane Society. Every Wednesday you eat at the Applebee's on Lakeview Parkway (in the Northern area of Suffolk), they will donate 20% of your total purchase price to the Suffolk Humane Society. Every Thursday you eat at the Applebee's on Main Street (in the Downtown area of Suffolk), they will donate 15% of your total purchase price to the Suffolk Humane Society. All you have to do is to print out the Wednesday North Suffolk Applebee's flyer or the Thursday Downtown Suffolk Applebee's flyer and present it to your server when you go. Currently, these agreements are set to continue every Wednesday and Thursday, so print out a bunch of copies and leave them in your car so you don't forget!

Please also feel free to distribute these flyers to anyone who you think would be interested! The only restriction is we cannot distribute the flyers on Applebee's property (parking lot included). Obviously, the more people who participate, the more money we can generate for Suffolk Humane Society, so spread the word!

Charter Communications will be partnering with Suffolk Humane through Charter's Community Connection program. When supporters of Suffolk Humane sign up for one of Charter's services, they will donate money back to Suffolk Humane...up to $125 per person!

In order for your service to qualify, you must follow a few short steps:

1. Call 866-443-6187 to sign up for Charter Digital Cable, Charter High-Speed Internet, or Charter Telephone (Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)


2. Provide the organization ID code: 37004. You must mention the ID code at the time of placing the order for Suffolk Humane Society to get credit.


3. Charter will support Suffolk Humane Society by making the following referral contributions for your order: $75 for the first qualifying service you order and $25 for each additional service you order on the same call (maximum of $125). Referral payments are limited to orders placed during one call per customer.

Suffolk Humane is now accepting ink cartridges for recycling. An Office Max MaxPerks account has been set up and points are earned toward gift certificates to buy office supplies. Cartridges can be dropped off at the office in Driver or send an email to Carol Johanningsmeier to make other arrangements.
